The Ireland cricket team represents all of Ireland in international cricket. In the 19th century, Cricket was introduced to Ireland and in 1855 the first match was played by an Ireland team. Ireland is the 11th full member of the International Cricket Council and the 2nd full member of Europe. In 1993 Ireland was appointed to associate membership of the ICC, but played their 1st full ODI in 2006 with England in the build-up to the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup. Andrew Balbirni is the present captain and Graham Ford is the coch of the team. It is one of the popular cricket team among international cricket teams.
