The Mumbai Indians is a Mumbai, Maharastra-based franchise cricket team and represents the city of Mumbai, which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This was formed in 2008 at the time when IPL was formed and it is owned by the biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries. They played their home matches at the home ground Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the Mumbai Indians have won the IPL Trophy 5 times since 2008.
