The England cricket team represents England and Wales in international cricket. From 1997 this Cricket Team has been directed by the England and Wales Cricket Board, previously directed by Marylebone Cricket Club since 1903.  As a founder nation, England is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) including Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 (T20I) status. Due to not ICC members Irish and Scottish players also played for England up to the 1990s England and Australia were the first teams to play a Test match (15–19 March 1877.).As of 10 July 2021, England has played 1,036 Test matches out of these winning 377 and losing 309 (with 350 draws).
