MA Chidambaram Stadium

M. A. Chidambaram Stadium  M. A. Chidambaram Stadium is a cricket stadium which is located in India, Tamil Nadu,  Chennai. and established in 1916. It is the second and most well-known oldest cricket stadium in the country after Eden Gardens in Kolkata state. Earlier known as Madras Cricket Club Ground (MCCG), after that stadium is named as M. A. Chidambaram Chettiar, Previous President of Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) & Head of TNCA. This stadium has also been nicknamed Chepauk Stadium. It is the home/local ground of the Tamil Nadu State Cricketer Team and the IPL (Indian Premier League) team CSK (Chennai Super Kings). Chidambaram introduced its 1st Test match on 10-02-1934, the first Ranji Trophy cricket match in 1936, and the Indian cricket team’s first test achieved in 1952 against England country.
